Many of Rusk’s customers, which are salons that carry the haircare brand, were devastated by Hurricane Sandy. Members of Rusk’s team visited 25 of the hardest-hit salons on Long Island, New York, on the Thursday and Friday before Christmas. The team donated over $35,000 in product, including hairdryers, that the brand hopes will help with their recovery while lifting the spirits of these business owners during the holiday season.

“We are all aware of the tragic impact that Hurricane Sandy has had on our area,” said RUSK Vice President of Marketing and Education, Heather Simmons. “We hope our gesture of support can make a long-lasting impact on these salons’ recovery process.”
